Songea Women and Children Care Organization (hereinafter referred to as SWACCO) is a registered non-governmental organization founded in 2000 by Mrs. Regina Mathias Chinguku in the help of her beloved children, Flora Glimsdale, Fidea Kobayashi and Anna Mugenya. It is registered by the Registrar of Trustees in Tanzania and on the 14^th September, 2009, SWACCO was issued a Certificate of Compliance, No. 1475 under section 11(3) of Act No. 24 of 2002 of NGO Act, 2002.Its office is in Songea Municipality opposite Majimaji Stadium.SWACCO is led by a Management Advisory Board and managed by the founding director who is assisted by a Project Manager and one program coordinator.
